Ultrasound
Ultrasound (sonogram) is a tool that allows
noninvasive imaging of internal organs often without
the need for sedation or anesthesia. In conjunction
with radiographs (X-rays), laboratory tests, history
and physical examination our veterinarians can
diagnose a wide variety of conditions. Ultrasound
guided biopsies and aspirates are an option for
gathering samples from all species of pets. It is
useful as an aid in managing and diagnosing
complex internal medicine cases, cardiac cases,
thoracic disease, urinary disease and reproductive
medicine.
